
Post and Go FastStamps Will Rejuvenate UK Philately
In late 2008 the Royal Mail began installing Post & Go machines around the UK, mostly sited in Post Office branches. These machines allow customers to serve themselves with postage labels for items they want to send or purchase special self-adhesive stamps for use anytime using an overprint to specify various inland, european and worldwide postage rates.

The trick to making money can often mean buying items before they become popular - while they are cheap - and selling them again later on once demand increases and prices have risen accordingly. However, despite sounding like a simple challenge, it's been rare in my experience with collectables to identify what looks like an obvious opportunity to buy up items at their very cheapest now to hopefully make a profit within a reasonable time frame. In my opinion the recently introduced smoking ban has created just such an opportunity.

Driving Licence Endorsement Codes in the UK
A UK driving licence is usually endorsed by court order when a driver is convicted of a driving offence (or incorrectly operating a vehicle). These endorsements can also be associated with a fixed or discretionary amount of points which remain on the licence for periods of up to 12 years. If a totting up of the total current points on a licence reaches 12 the driver will often receive a driving ban for a period of time.
